Information Technology Council (ITC) - Please see IT Governance

As of January 2013, the ITC was dissolved to make way for the new University of Utah IT governance process. The ITC's former responsibilities now fall under the purview of the University IT Governance structure. The ITC webpages will soon be moved to UIT's list of archived committees.

Committee Charter

The purpose of the Information Technology Council (ITC) is to facilitate the development of the University's Information Technology and e-Commerce infrastructures, resources, and applications. The ITC is a representative body with members from most colleges and administrative departments. ITC legislates and oversees policies, plans, processes, funding, staffing, and infrastructure investments to support the University's mission. ITC sets the direction toward IT integration that will allow the University to serve its local campus constituents as well as a growing, global customer base.

The Information Technology Council acts within the jurisdication and by authority of the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs.
