Reminder: Kronos update July 16

As mentioned in last month's Node 4, Kronos - the University's payroll application - is getting a huge upgrade. The current version used is two versions behind, which has caused instability issues, incompatibility with hardware updates, and issues when using the Java version.

Thankfully, those issues should be resolved when the new version goes live on July 16, 2017. Users can also look forward to the transition to single sign-on, which is how users log in to the majority of University applications; a permanent fix to longstanding Java issues; and a new look and feel for end users. 

Training

Faculty, staff, and student employees are encouraged to access the online training modules to become familiarized with the upgraded platform:

Payroll reporters will be contacted directly with training schedules and instructions.
