Red Butte plant sale springs to life on May 10-11

Red Butte Garden welcomes the return of planting season at its annual spring plant sale on Friday-Saturday, May 10-11, 2024. All proceeds benefit the garden.

Member Benefit Day is May 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (garden members must preregister online on May 7, starting at 9:00 a.m., for entry times). The plant sale is open to the public on May 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free and preregistration is not required.

What’s for sale:

  • Herbs
  • Specialty annuals
  • Sun and shade perennials
  • Ornamental grasses
  • Vines, shrubs, conifers, and trees
  • Heirloom vegetables
  • Potted succulents
  • Bee-friendly and high-altitude plants
  • Hanging flower baskets
  • Organic fertilizers and coco fiber

Guests are encouraged to bring their own carts or wagons. Cardboard trays will be provided to carry plants home.
