On Thursday June 4, 2015, colleagues from across the University of Utah and the broader Utah community joined together to wish Steve Corbató, former Deputy CIO, a fond farewell. Corbató is transitioning to Portland, Oregon this month to join Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) as its Chief Technology Officer. 

Corbató has served as a director, deputy CIO, and interim CIO during the past seven years that he's been with University Information Technology (UIT), and his contributions to the U have been invaluable. He will be greatly missed.
