Helen Lacy-Smith, longtime U employee, has passed away

Helen Lacy-Smith, a longtime University of Utah employee and friend to many UIT and UEN staff, passed away on September 15, 2015.

Helen began her career at the U in 1968 and retired in 2012. She worked for a number of departments during that time, including Media Systems and ITV, and was the General Manager of KULC/KUEN before eventually retiring from UIT as Director of the Instructional Media Services group.

Helen will be greatly missed by her family, along with her many friends and colleagues here at the U. Details regarding services for Helen are below.
