IT assessment official kick-off held July 29
On Wednesday July 29, Senior Chief Administrative Officer and CFO John Nixon, CIO Steve Hess, UIT leaders, a small group of key University stakeholders, and a Deloitte Consulting team came together to hold the official kick-off meeting for the University’s IT Assessment project.
This 13-week project will provide a valuable outside perspective on how University IT operations run, as well as how UIT can better improve its processes and services. During their time here, the Deloitte team will interview dozens of people across campus, from diverse areas and backgrounds, to fully understand the entirety of the IT landscape. This is a positive effort that will help determine where the University stands against its peers, while also identifying opportunities for improvement.
