Kudos & Congratulations

An example of trust and teamwork

We recently converted the Redwood Clinic from a legacy phone system over to a new Avaya VOIP solution. There were 200+ phones. The groups that worked together worked under unusual pre-planning conditions. There was a chain of events that happened that spelled disaster. We would typically not have this many people working on one project. The team dynamics of understanding the desired outcome, trusting in one another, and communicating effectively while negotiating internally the terms and conditions did provide the desired outcome. The power of teamwork “Many hands, made light work” of the project and it was a smooth transition.  I would like to thank the following people who made this project a success:

Account Managers: Tyler Higgins, Lisa Osborne and Jennifer Aldrich who all worked with the different areas within the clinic gathering crucial information on how the phones should work in their environment.

Information Coordinator: Amy Talbot for walking around the clinic and assisting users on the new functionality of their phone sets.

Service Coordinators: Teri Pearson, Derek Hatch, and Cory Hale for processing the work orders and coordinating work that needed to be done with Century Link after hours.

Voice Service Team: Tony Jess, Julia Harrison and Doug Johnson in racking, stacking and configuring the phone system servers.

NOC: Adam Hughes for configuring and installing new network switches to accommodate the new Voice over IP phone system.

Field Technicians: Corey Hayes, Jason Lawes, and Lance Davis were instrumental with the installation and programming all of the phone sets. Corey took the lead in planning and coordinating the manpower necessary on site to put everything in place and on time.

To some of you it may look like magic, but there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes for a production like this. They all pulled together at the eleventh hour and made this a success for our customers. Our customers were never aware that anything was amiss. Thank you for your dedication and heroics. Without the trust that they have developed with each other and working outside the box none of this would have been possible.
