About
The Auxiliary Services team within UIT/USS provides IT development, support, and integration services for university systems outside the core Student, HR, Finance, and Research portfolios.
We design, build, and support both internally developed and third-party applications that power key campus operations. While we work closely with departments such as the UCard Office, Housing, Emergency Management, Student Life Services, and Parking Services, our role is focused on delivering and enhancing the technology behind these services.
As a cross-functional team, we collaborate across UIT/USS to deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions that meet evolving campus needs.

Services
Application development and improvement
Build and enhance internal applications and continuously improve existing systems.
Application support and maintenance
Support and maintain enterprise and auxiliary platforms (e.g., OnBase, DocuSign, CIS, LDAP, Campus Directory, and Software Catalog to name a few).
System integrations
Develop and manage secure integrations and data feeds across campus systems.
Technical support for auxiliary services
Support systems used by units like UCard, Housing, and Parking.
Consulting and process improvement
Partner with departments to streamline processes and evaluate technology solutions.
