About
The Quality Assurance/Release Management team is responsible to help ensure quality throughout the system development life cycle and to help UIT meet state and internal audit requirements. This is achieved by working with all appropriate parties to establish methodologies and processes to generate more stable and robust deliverables in the most cost-effective ways.
QA strives to ensure that the highly complex, constantly changing systems and applications our customers use, work, and function as expected, by helping reduce or eliminate unexpected issues.
Services
Automated functional testing
Validate application functionality from the user perspective through repeatable, automated tests.
Manual functional testing
Perform targeted user functional testing to identify issues and confirm expected behavior.
Load and performance testing
Assess system performance and reliability under various usage levels.
Release management
Coordinate application releases to reduce risk and support stable deployments and meet state and University audit compliance.
