ITIL 4 Foundations course overview
The ITIL 4 Foundations course is designed to give you a practical understanding of ITIL at the Foundation level and prepare you for the Foundation in Service Management Exam. You will learn about ITIL guiding principles, service management, the four dimensions of service management, service value system, and service management best practices through lecture, discussions, and case study exercises.
The class takes place over two days, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. A reading assignment in conjunction with the class will take about five hours for an average reader to complete.
As part of the class, a voucher for the certification exam is provided. The voucher is used to register for the exam, which is admintered online by PeopleCert. The certification exam will take one hour. To pass, you must score 65% or higher (answer at least 26 of 40 questions correctly).
The cost of the class for University of Utah employees is $481. The price for a non-university student is $1,595.
