Photos: 2016 UIT Holiday Party

The annual University Information Technology (UIT) holiday party was held on Tuesday, December 13. The event, which celebrates UIT employees for their hard work, was held in the Varsity Room on the sixth floor of the Rice-Eccles stadium. Attendees were treated to stunning views of a snow-covered campus, as well as a U-branded baseball cap for each employee.

During the catered lunch, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Ruth Watkins stopped by to share a few words of appreciation for UIT and talk about all the ways in which the work of UIT employees contributes to the University's four strategic goals. Afterwards, the prize giveaway was held. Lucky winners received iPod Shuffles, Amazon Fire tablets, a FitBit, Ninja blenders, U-branded stadium blankets, tickets to Red Butte Gardens, USB hubs, Amazon Echo devices, and more.
