OSL launches Microsoft Online Learning courses

On Friday, January 29, UIT's Office of Software Licensing launched access to a host of Microsoft Online Learning courses, which are free of charge to all students, staff, and faculty who are eligible to download Microsoft software through the OSL web store. These courses are provided as part of the University’s Microsoft Campus Agreement.

Simply visit this page and follow the instructions to access the Microsoft online courses, which cover a range of topics including servers, operating systems, and applications. Once enrolled, users see the entire online course catalog, which currently offers 1,472 beginner-to-expert courses. As a sampling, courses include 418 on the Microsoft Office Suite (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote), 43 about Visio, 119 covering the SharePoint Server and 68 featuring the SQL Server, among many others.

If you have any questions about the new course offerings, please contact software@utah.edu.
