ARUP Blood Services hosts drive at 102 Tower

Donors in UIT, ITS, EDW, & UMB contribute 19 pints of blood

ARUP Blood Services stopped by 102 Tower on May 2, 2017 to host a bood drive. ARUP Blood Services, a component of ARUP Laboratories, provides blood to more than 7,000 patients each year. It is the sole blood provider to University Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, Primary Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children. Utah is home to 50 hospitals, and these four use around 25 percent of the blood in the entire state. ARUP Blood Services needs 100 donors a day to serve patients in these hospitals.

Thank you, ARUP Blood Services staff and donors!
