The balance between IT security and operational efficiency will always exist, but information security teams are increasingly recognized as vital partners in protecting an organization’s interests.

To cut down on digital noise, UIT rolled out a pilot change in September to the UConnect network in 102 Tower, transitioning to a 5GHz-only network. Subject to the outcome of the pilot, 5GHz may become the U's new baseline frequency.
