An enhanced version of ServiceNow – the common service management platform used by University Information Technology (UIT) and Information Technology Services (ITS) staff – went live on July 9.

In May 2016, University Information Technology contracted with a consultant to begin a huge endeavor: a physical wireless survey of over 200 buildings across campus.

University students, staff and faculty can now opt in to use Duo two-factor authentication (2FA). This extra layer of security helps protect users by ensuring they can safely sign in to applications or websites that run behind the University’s Central Authentication Service (CAS).
For nearly 20 years, Janet Ellingson worked and taught at the University of Utah. She holds a Ph.D. in History and taught in the U's Department of History from 1998 - 2009.
