Monty Kaufusi built a central logging solution for UIT and was able to leverage it to find a disrupted device within five minutes of it going down. Great job Monty!
~ Elliot Fenech, Common Infrastructure Services
As Pokémon GO fever hit its peak, ISO and University Marketing and Communications needed a quick & accurate article and news media pitch about security concerns related to the game and app permission settings in general. Emily Rushton (Strategic Communication) quickly interviewed ISO subject matter experts Corey Roach and Jake Johansen, did additional research, and produced the pitch and article in record time. Great work, Emily, Corey, and Jake!

Josh Gross joined the IAM team less than a year ago and has been providing operations support in both the PeopleSoft and Active Directory areas. Recently, we had an issue with one of our initiatives that required us to take a step back and look at other ways to approach the problem. Even though Josh was pulled into the project late in the game and he had other competing priorities, Josh jumped right into helping us document and research the issue. He was able to identify several options for us to pursue and followed the implementation through to the end. Josh is dedicated to process improvements that increase efficiencies and accomplish the identified end goals. It is refreshing to work with someone like Josh who gives their all to making the University a better and more secure place to work.
~ Jodi Kunz, Information Security Office
