Jill Brinton named Associate Director for Project Management Office

UIT’s leadership team is pleased to announce that Jill Brinton has been named as the Associate Director for the newly formed UIT Project Management Office (PMO), effectively immediately.

Brinton, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), has 16 years of experience working for UIT. She began her career at the University of Utah as a contractor, subsequently moving to a manager position within UIT’s former Media Solutions group. Most recently she has served as Associate Director for Customer Solutions in UIT’s Process Office. With over 35 years of professional experience in both the private and public sectors in project management, applications development, customer support, and training for higher education and healthcare, Brinton’s qualifications are uniquely suited to leading UIT’s PMO.

Brinton and the PMO report to Deputy CIO Ken Pink, and a team of project management staff is currently being assembled. The PMO will oversee larger projects for all UIT units going forward.
