Document signing tool decision
Last fall, UIT's Office of Software Licensing was asked to investigate the possibility of pursuing a campus license for a document signing/e-signature tool.
After conducting a needs vs. cost analysis, which included data collected via an interest survey that was distributed across campus, the University has opted to decline to pursue a campus agreement this year. Next year we may be asked to revisit the question of a possible campus agreement. If we begin a new needs analysis, we’ll solicit campus-wide input once again. In the meantime, organizations in need of a document signing solution should pursue their own purchases as needed.
