Don we now our bold apparel: USS ugly sweater contest

Wallflowers were especially inconspicuous December 8 during an Ugly Sweater Contest in UIT’s University Support Services (USS).
Winner for kitschiest threads went to Dan Gillen for his "ornamented" sweater complete with holiday music-playing speakers. Gillen was awarded a blanket, hydro flask water bottle, flash drive, and beanie. Second place was a tie between Val Olds and Cindy Devine. Everyone – ugly sweater or not – enjoyed hot chocolate and an assortment of cakes and cookies from Gourmandise Bakery.
