Photos and video: Summer Fiesta
Colleagues enjoy a friendly (but competitive) game of foosball.
On a hot spring day that felt every bit like summer, members of University Information Technology, Information Technology Services, and University Medical Billing took a break from the office to gather at the Gallivan Center. The Summer Fiesta Party on June 6 featured sun, fun, music, and Mexican fare.
Lunch consisted of taco and salad stations catered and served up by Costa Vida, with cookies made by specialty grocer, The Store. Guests enjoyed the meal in the cooled Gallivan Hall, al fresco while overlooking the West Plaza, and at shaded tables on the East Plaza.
Colleagues competed for candy prizes and bragging rights at table games – table tennis and foosball – and lawn games like cactus toss, cow bell toss, bean bag toss, Plinko, and Spill the Milk. During the lunch hour, attendees were serenaded by local musician Galen Young.
