When Google announced that on April 1, 2018, it would discontinue its enterprise website search product, Google Search Appliance (GSA), the University of Utah needed to decide where to turn for this fundamental tool.

The Strategic Information Technology Committee met on January 16, and the Architecture and New Technology Committee met on January 22. The Enterprise Web Advisory Council will meet on January 26, and the Teaching and Learning Portfolio will meet on January 29.
