Swoop is special guest at UIT Spring Party

Birds of a feather really do flock together.

University of Utah mascot "Swoop" flew in to help generate school spirit May 29 at the UIT Spring Party, held this year at Tracy Aviary inside Liberty Park.

Some lingering rain and clouds gave way to sunny skies as the party began, creating an idyllic setting for UIT employees to enjoy a lunch buffet from Padeli's Street Greek, with cookies from City Cakes and entertainment courtesy of birds, birds, and more birds (employees received free admission to the aviary).

A big squawk-out to all our colleagues who pitched in to help make the party a success, from cookie order picker-uppers to ticket-takers to chair wranglers (see the Kudos page for a complete list of volunteers).
