Because bulk email campaigns sent by University of Utah organizations result in system-wide UMail delivery delays for all users, University Information Technology (UIT) is establishing a schedule for bulk senders to follow. 

Employees in UIT's Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) organization recently took part in three team-building and morale events: a Scavenger Hunt, Block Walk Challenge, and Treats & Trivia.

No IT governance groups met in July. The Enterprise Web Advisory Council (EWAC) will meet again on August 8. The Strategic Information Technology Committee (SITC) will reconvene on September 10, the Architecture and New Technology Committee (ANTC) will meet again on September 23, and the Teaching and Learning Portfolio (TLP) will next assemble on August 20.
