During a recent extremely complex IT service disruption that lasted for many days, Campus Help Desk Manager Josh Gross (UIT) was analytical, intelligent, persistent, meticulous, and professional as he attended to progress and to-dos across many communication channels, data sources, and teams. His steady problem-solving mindset and deft parsing meant that numerous threads were raveled and synthesized for the greater good. Thank you, Josh.

Every day I work through many networking tickets. Whenever I see Ginger Mclaughlin’s (UIT) name on the ticket as the person who previously worked on a ticket, I instantly know that ticket has been worked on well and had its due diligence taken care of. I rarely have to change anything or do anything extra at all on these tickets since Ginger has taken care of it all already. She is the kind of employee that makes your job so much easier, and based off of what I hear from other departments, she does this in all aspects of her work. If I could submit another kudos as emphasis of how much I appreciate the quality of work that Ginger puts into her day-to-day routine, I would. Thank you Ginger for your efforts and what you do for UIT/UITHD.

Samantha Lankford (UIT) keeps our Teams voice service going. We have a lot of turnover this year and getting phone service removed from exiting employees and provided for new hires is a constant flow. When we get new requests for department phone setups, like reception desks, that can have some complexity. Sam's such a pro and great to work with!

I want to give some enthusiastic Kudos to Andrew Nelson in UIT University Support Services. Over the last few years, he has played a key role in developing a Salesforce app to support our annual Learning Spaces allocation process; and he's had amazing impact in our ability to be effective, strategic, and data-driven throughout these deliberations.
   
What I appreciate most about Andrew is his ability to be respectful and collaborative while gently encouraging us to make wise design decisions. He has deep knowledge of the technologies available and can clearly explain how choices made today might create challenges down the road. In sum, Andrew is a consummate professional who is also a wonderful person to work with.
