Digital media helps Native students tell their stories

During Indigenous Storytelling Camp, 88 students from the Uintah Ouray Reservation, Monument Valley, White Mesa, and schools across the Wasatch Front gathered at the U to create and share their stories through digital and physical media.

Data classification labels are coming to the U's Google Workspace

To help members of the university better understand and manage the sensitivity of documents in Google Workspace, UIT is preparing to roll out data classification labels. Data classification labels are metadata tags that users can apply to files in Google Drive (including Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, and other supported file types).

Sparse snow doesn't damper biggest year yet for DLT-sponsored film fest

The third annual Snowdance Student Film Festival culminated on March 27 with a public screening at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. This year’s event showcased 11 student films — more than in previous years — reflecting a noticeable increase in scope and storytelling.
