UIT All-Hands Meeting details

This year's UIT All-Hands Meeting will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2019, from 8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Megaplex Theatres in The Gateway. The meeting will include a continental breakfast, updates from UIT Leadership, milestone years of service presentation, and the Kevin Taylor Memorial Service Award ceremony. Should time allow, UIT Leadership also will hold a Q&A session. Employees can submit questions anonymously via this form until 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019.

All UIT employees (except essential personnel) are expected to attend. The meeting will be recorded and available online afterward. The meeting will not be live-streamed.

Note: Doors open at 8:15 a.m.

8:15 a.m. – 8:40 a.m.: Continental breakfast

8:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Meeting

Menu

The continental breakfast will include an assortment of doughnuts, muffins, and bagels with cream cheese; fresh fruit; a protein such as hard-boiled eggs, yogurt cups, or hard cheese; assorted juices; regular and decaf coffee; hot tea; and bottled water. In addition, vegan/gluten-free pastries will be available and marked appropriately.

Note: The menu is not nut-free.

Transportation

If you’re able, please carpool with colleagues, walk, bike, or use public transit.

The first hour of parking at The Gateway parking garages is free. A limited number of Gateway South Garage parking vouchers will be available during breakfast on a first-come, first-served basis. For those who plan to drive, park in the South Garage, accessible via 400 West or 200 South.

TRAX/FrontRunner

From downtown: Take the Blue TRAX line from the City Center Station to the Planetarium Station, which stops on 400 West in front of The Gateway. Or take the Green TRAX line from City Center to the Arena Station, then walk down South Temple and turn left on 400 West to reach The Gateway. The theater will be on the right.

From the FrontRunner station: From the North Temple Station, follow 500 West to 100 South; turn left. Then turn right on South Rio Grande Street. The theater will be on the left.

From campus: Take the nearest Red TRAX line to the Courthouse Station, then transfer to a Blue or Green TRAX line. Follow the directions above.

Bus

From 102 Tower: Walk to the bus station at 200 South and 200 East. Board the 205-500 East or 220-Highland Drive/1300 East bus. Exit at 200 South and 460 West. Turn left on South Rio Grande. The theater will be on your right.
