UIT staff recognized for their excellent work

Congratulations to Doug Archibald and Lisa Osborne (both from the CTO organization) for winning the last prize drawing!

A big thank you to Robert Bateman for always being so helpful and professional whenever he helps our department. He recently deployed multiple machines for us, and as he always does, went the extra mile to make sure we all had what we needed. Thank you, Robert!

~ Karen Clark, Sunnyside Apartments

Heather Winters, thank you for your support and guidance in getting us set up with Avaya Workplace this morning. I appreciate your help in making this a smooth transition for us.

~ Nikki Enciso, HMHI Contact Center

Huge kudos to Dane Luby! He is incredibly responsive and always helpful whenever I have data questions. I truly appreciate the time and attention that he puts into his work. Thank you for doing such a great job, Dane!

~ Carrie Felton, University Connected Learning

Thank you to Earl Lewis for helping the wireless team complete the FY24 wireless replacements project. This was a huge undertaking and Earl and other project managers really helped in helping us complete it on time. On to FY25. 😊

~ Brandon Callahan, UIT Network Services

Thank you so much, Heather Winters, for helping me get my phone set up so I could work from home. You were so quick and helpful.

~ Rhiannon Lambson, Home Infusion

I want to extend a huge thanks to Brandon Callahan, Nathan Dougal, Christian Johnson, Curtis Larsen, and Dave Thomaz, all members of the UIT wireless network team. I had the pleasure of working with this team on a project to replace almost 900 wireless access points in 20 campus buildings.

This team exemplifies the terms teamwork and standardization. They’ve developed a very clearly documented and standard process that everyone knows and follows for these projects. This is literally a project manager's dream, to have this all documented and all we need to do as a project manager is fulfill our role to bring it together.

Thank you all, gentlemen! It was a pleasure working with you on this one.

P.S. I should mention that having this process in place helped us complete all of the project work well within our planned schedule.

~ Earl Lewis, Project Management Office

Thank you to Ellis Valdez and Don Burris for being the best tech support staff in the College of Architecture and Planning. Both are knowledgeable, efficient, and very friendly. 🙂

~ Stacy Harwood, City & Metropolitan Planning Department
