On March 26, the U's Information Security Office upgraded to Duo Universal Prompt, which includes more authentication options and a new interface for the Duo Management Portal, web browsers, and mobile app.

Vet clinic was Nate Bradford's first foray into health care

UIT’s Nate Bradford with one of his pet patients during his time working at a Banfield Pet Hospital location in Oxnard, California.

The UIT system administrator worked in a veterinary clinic for two years. The experience taught him “to get started without waiting for confidence to kick in” and inspired him to pivot into a health care-supporting role at the university.

Platform promises enhanced contact center experience

C1Conversations, a cloud-based contact center platform, will be the university’s new automatic contact distribution system for routing inbound contacts to available agents. The platform is scheduled to go live in May.

IT governance roundup

IT Governance

The Strategic Information Technology Committee (SITC) met on March 12, and the Teaching and Learning Portfolio (TLP) regrouped on March 19. The Enterprise Web Advisory Council will reconvene on April 11. TLP will regroup on April 16. SITC will meet again on May 14. The next IT Architecture and New Technology Committee meeting is to be determined.
