Thank you to Don Burris and Ellis Valdez for their extra work in support of our accreditation team visit. We are required to set up a Team Room for accreditors that only they are allowed to access over the course of a four-day site visit. All evidence must be submitted digitally — 2,300 files — and so we needed to set up a large screen, in-room monitor, printer, four desktop monitors, microwave, mini fridge, and shredder. We would not be able to go in should there be a problem, and so execution of this was incredibly important to our school. Don and Ellis were great about communicating in advance about setup and came in over the weekend to help set up the room and turn over the key to the team chair. Don was particularly diligent in making sure that power strips were distributed and safely secured. He ran out for supplies when necessary and made sure everything went without a hitch. In their exit report, the accreditors recognized the high quality of the Team Room, and the visibility of support staff. Thank you, Don and Ellis!

Don Burris has been an exceptional IT staff member who has supported students, faculty, and staff in the School of Architecture and the College of Architecture and Planning. Don is willing to support students, faculty, and staff and happy to answer any questions they may have. Our students have said many great things about Don, and I am glad that he is part of our community. Don did a great job in supporting the School of Architecture in our preparation for the recently concluded NAAB accreditation team site visit. I want to thank Don for his service and support to our school and the college. Thank you, Don! You are an asset to the college.

Ellis Valdez has been an excellent staff member in the College of Architecture and Planning. I am amazed at his work ethic, and he is very professional. Ellis has helped our students, faculty, and staff, including myself, on many occasions to resolve IT-related issues. Ellis is very knowledgeable and ensures that your IT-related issues are well resolved. Thank you, Ellis, for the support you have offered to the School of Architecture and the College of Architecture and Planning.
