Digital media helps Native students tell their stories

Native students look at photography displayed at Storyfest, a public event that showcased digital and physical media works created during Indigenous Storytelling Camp.

During Indigenous Storytelling Camp, 88 students from the Uintah Ouray Reservation, Monument Valley, White Mesa, and schools across the Wasatch Front gathered at the U to create and share their stories through digital and physical media.

Sparse snow doesn't damper biggest year yet for DLT-sponsored film fest

The third annual Snowdance Student Film Festival culminated on March 27 with a public screening at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. This year’s event showcased 11 student films — more than in previous years — reflecting a noticeable increase in scope and storytelling.
