After spending time around the Network Services team as a UTV technical assistant, the electrical engineering major wanted to get involved with the Network Operations Center. He says he's proud to keep the U network up and running.
IT governance committees did not convene in September. The Enterprise Web Advisory Council (EWAC) will next meet on 10/3; The Teaching and Learning Portfolio (TLP) will meet on 10/23; the IT Architecture and New Technology Committee (ANTC) will meet on 10/28; and the Strategic Information Technology Committee (SITC) will meet on 10/29.
UIT and ITS colleagues hit the links at Forest Dale Golf Course for the annual scramble-style tournament, which was followed by dinner and prizes.
When it comes to how the fees are used, the Teaching and Learning Portfolio governance committee has implemented a thorough process for gathering data and reviewing requests for Student Computing Fees-Learning Spaces funding.
