David Kosanke started out as a telephone installer in March 1991, and the majority of his time at the University has been spent managing the Physical Plant which includes telephones, cable, and fiber. In the early 1990s, he was instrumental in installing the fiber plant on campus, when the University of Utah became the first air-blown fiber plant in the western United States.

After two years working as the HIPAA security specialist and governance, risk, and compliance manager for the Information Security Office, Kiston Finney is moving on to an even bigger opportunity.
