As this year draws to a close, we take a moment to reflect on some of UIT's most notable achievements, events, and employee features and news.

In 2021, UIT published 111 articles in its Node 4 newsletter, dozens of which were cross-posted in @theU, Researcher’s Corner, Campus Connect, and Pulse. A security advisory about “smishing” garnered the most attention.

Even with lower turnout and fewer research computing sites attending in-person, UIT Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC) staff had many valuable discussions with fellow SC21 attendees about shared practices, experiences, and issues.
