Get ITIL certified through the U in 2023

Take your IT professional development to the next level in 2023 by enrolling in an ITIL 4 Foundations class, taught by University of Utah instructors.

The dates are:

• Thursday-Friday, June 22-23

ITIL 4 Foundations classes, which remain virtual for now, give attendees a practical understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) at the foundation level, in preparation for the ITIL Foundation in Service Management exam. Each two-day course covers Service Management, ITIL Guiding Principles, the Four Dimensions of Service Management, the Service Value System, and Service Management best practices through lecture, discussions, and case study exercises.

The course costs $425 per university employee and covers all training materials and the exam. Because UIT and ITS units must pay for ITIL training for their staff members, please check with your manager before registering to make sure that staff development funds are available. The cost for non-university employees remains $1,595. Class sizes are limited to 15 or fewer students.
