UIT preplanning avoids start of semester 'fires'

Before each new semester, UIT teams and their IT counterparts across campus and University of Utah Health practice a proactive form of “fire prevention” that involves planning IT changes, maintaining software licenses, and leveraging cloud-based resources.

AnyConnect VPN will be retired on May 12

Cisco AnyConnect virtual private network (VPN) infrastructure will be retired on May 12, 2022. University of Utah and University of Utah Health VPN users must install and start to use the Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN client before this date.
