The database where UIT stores contact information for University of Utah IT staff members in the event of a network incident is moving to ServiceNow, a more secure and scalable platform.

A major student housing renovation project in the University of Utah’s West Village continues to progress, with UIT leading critical IT infrastructure efforts. The East and West Villages are geared toward upper division undergraduate students with families and graduate students.

The U has embarked on a project to explore new platforms used by prospective graduate students seeking admission to a master’s or doctoral degree program. A platform called Slate is expected to enter production by fall 2023.
