IT upgrades will modernize U's communication technology

Teams opens in Outlook online.

Starting in May, UIT will begin two major IT infrastructure projects to modernize the university’s communication technology and better meet the needs of those working, learning, and teaching remotely.

Last year, 195 employees surpassed 25 years of service to the University of Utah, 10 of whom were from the UIT organization. Their longstanding careers were celebrated on April 23, 2021 during an online Staff Service Awards ceremony.
