Adobe Flash Player support ends on 12/31. Get ready now.

After December 31, 2020, Adobe will stop distributing and updating Flash Player — just short of its 20th birthday. While many major browsers will automatically disable Flash Player before then, users still may need to uninstall the software on their operating systems in order to prevent any security vulnerabilities.

U of U rolling out 2FA for UMail, O365 for campus employees

The Duo Security app requires that users verify their identity to log in.

Starting September 15, 2020, the University of Utah will roll out the second phase of its security upgrades, which will require all campus faculty, staff, and affiliates to use two-factor authentication (2FA) for UMail and all Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams.
